This a general message to everybody regarding JAHNREISEN customer care service;
I have booked a week in Hurghada with JAHNREISEN and have chosen a 5-star hotel and paid 900 euros in middle November. The hotel was terrible and no 5-star standards. Of course I have complained when I got back and after two months I got today a letter from JAHNREISEN saying thank you for the feedback and please try again to book another hotel with us so we can satisfy you!!! Just that!!!

I have received today a letter from your customer care department (Katja Engeln) with regards to my complain.I have paid for a week of vacation in Egypt at a 5-star hotel (900 euros) and I have landed at a hotel that is hardly a 4-star !!!I have explained very specifically why I was so disappointed (original mail at the end of this message).And all you did was to send me a letter thanking me for giving you feedback on the hotel that was terrible and ask me to use YOUR services again so I can be satisfied from you ??? This is definitely not at all 'customer care'.If you would let me know that the hotel was far away from the 5-star standards I would have not paid 900 euros for a week !!! I would have gone to a 4-star one and pay half!!!I have formed a complaint and I got back a letter saying 'thank you and give us a try again so we can satisfy you'!?! I have uploaded also some photos.I will make sure that this letter shows up at every forum so people get to know what kind of customer care service you provide.
Nachricht:Hello,I am very disappointed from the Premier Le Reve hotel that you 'sell' as 5-star!Here are the reasons:Room was not 'done' twice;Room was dirty;Reception could not give us a second key for the room - after 3 days we got a second key;Sauna is for ONE person only; outside the sauna there is no relax bed as it is in the spa area (belongs to an extrenal company) where employees try to sell you packages;There are only 2 bathrooms for all guests at the pool/beach area;There is only one lift going to the pool/beach;At the executive lounge the white wine offered is from a barrel....and it is not even dry !!! Furthermore it is offered in bottles that say wine ROSE !!!;Chinese, Italian and fish restaurants and also on the buffett just ordinary dishes;certainly not 5-star standards for the price I paid!!!
