Magic-Life-Club DUNI - Hotel "Marina-Royal-Palace"

Here is the latest information from Neckermann Belgium. Sorry, it's in English because my German is not so good and the language dutch you can't understand I think.
We have watched this forum for the last weeks and we have finded some important information. Also thank you for the pictures (Ursula and Petra). We are leaving next Wednesday (07/07) for the hotel Marina Royal Palace.
An inspector from Neckermann Belgium has visited the hotel for a last update, he is back in Belgium since 01 july.
The hotel is open and it is correct that 2 wings from the hotel are still under construction, you can see that also on the pictures. They are not working on it for the moment. The reception is improvised. The rooms for the guests (1 wing) are ready, the swimming pool and the restaurant is also ready. There is no telephone yet on the room.
For the rest seems everything okay. The inspector has spoken with many guests and they had not too much complains.
They (Neckermann Belgium) are knowing that the hotel is not completely ready and the are giving a discount off 10% on your holiday if you have complaints. Attention: you must ask for it yourselves !
So we are going to ask the 10 % discount. And hopely we are going to enjoy our holiday next wednesday. I hope also that I can meet some friendly Germans.

It was absolutely wonderfull!! Never have I had such a great stay as I have in the resort, and definatly in marina royal. Ok, only one part of the building was finished, but what a part it was. The rooms are beautifull, real marble everywhere, daily cleaning, great service and the vieuw is magnificent. There were flowers all over the room when we arrived and everything shines. Brand new it truly is. I read that they weren't continuing the building process, but they are. As we were there, the pool got finished and another block of rooms opened it's doors for the residents. In fact, the whole front (the only part you see in the resort) is finished now, so you won't get to see any construction work being done. My advice, don't change to magic life. Marina royal is right at the beach, right at the activity pool, where everything happens, and right at the half indoor/half outdoor restaurant. Magic life is quite a walk before you get to the beach, and definatly to get to the pool. So if you forgot something in your room, you're in trouble
No, the stay was so amazing that I'm not even going to ask for my 10% refund we've been offered.
Oh, and the reception is not 'basic' at all, it's a well organised and pretty building, with a bar next to it, right when you arrive with the bus. As soon as you get out, you can check in, and someone takes you're luggage up to you're rooms.
I can only say what I thought, but I'm a very critical traveller and just like you, I was extremely concerned with the building and thought about changing to magic life. Thank god I didn't!
Have a great trip and please, don't worry. There is no reason to do so!

I forgot, I have a picture from the second they we were there. If you want to, I can send them to you. Note that by the time we left, the few construction you can still see was finished... but even with it, you can see it's a great hotel.

Also die letzetn beiden Beiträge machen ja schon mal Mut und ich bin jetzt schon etwas zuversichtlicher, was unseren Urlaub im Marina Royal Palace angeht. Das mit der Umbuchung ins Belleville hat sowieso noch immer nicht geklappt und ich denke, wir riskieren es jetzt einfach und fahren ins Marina Royal. Falls es dann vor Ort doch Schwierigkeiten geben sollte wegen der Baustelle, dann kann man ja immer noch die 10% Preisnachlass verlangen.
Also ich hoffe, dass nun doch alles klappt und wir alle einen tollen Urlaub dort haben werden:-)

Hey, When you ask me for the picture, please mention your email adres in the message. Otherwise I don't know who to send it to...
And no, the building works that are still going on are in the back and out of sight, so you barely hear anything.

laß den Kopf nicht hängen, wann fahrt ihr denn, wir sind in 3Wo da, und hören auch nix von Neckermann, ich habe mich moralisch schon auf die Bilder eingestellt, wir wissen wenigstens was uns erwartet.
Wie habt ihr das denn gemacht, das Neckermann euch ins Belville umbuchen wollte, gehört das nicht zu Magic Life und damit zu Tui ?
Ich dachte Neckermann hätte nur noch das Pelikan.

der Vorschlag, uns ins Belleville umzubuchen, kam von der Mitarbeiterin unseres Reisebüros. Sie war vor kurzem in Bulgarien und meinte, sie hätte das mit der Reiseleitung dort besprochen, dass wir ins Bellevill könnten, weil wir auf keinen Fall in ein halbfertiges Hotel wollten. Wir haben dann nach einer schriftlichen Bestätigung für diese Umbuchung gefragt, aber seitdem wurden wir ständig vertröstet, also diese schriftliche Bestätigung haben wir nicht bekommen und deshalb denke ich auch, dass das mit der Umbuchung nicht klappen wird.
Uns wurde auch gesagt, dass das Belleville normalerweise gar nicht von Neckermann angeboten wird, aber dass wir eben, weil das Marina Royal noch nicht fertig wäre, trotzdem dort Zimmer bekämen.Aber davon gehe ich jetzt nicht mehr aus, also ich denke, wir werden jetzt ins Marina Royal gehen und ich hoffe, uns erwartet kein Chaos.
Wir sind übrigens erst im August dort. Wenn du vorher zurück bist, vielleicht kannst du dann ja hier noch erzählen, wie es war. das wäre echt toll:-)
