The country primarily uses two types of plug sockets: Type G: This is the same plug used in the UK. It has three rectangular prongs in a triangular pattern. To reach the resort from Malé, you will take a domestic flight from Malé International Airport to Gan Island, which roughly takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Upon arrival at Gan Island, you will then be transferred by speedboat to the resort, which takes approximately 15 minutes.
