The hotel accepts Tanzanian Shillings, US Dollar and Euro. We can exchange a US Dollars and/or Euros in to Tanzanian Shillings, however not vise versa, and can only be done in Stone Town (1h drive from the hotel). Furthermore, we are able to exchange the above mentioned currencies in to smaller denominations - subject to availability. US Dollars dated 2008 and years prior will not be accepted in Zanzibar’s banks and bureaus
