Beautiful 1880 waterfront inn, completely restored and renovated. 3 bedrooms, each with ensuite private bathroom. Immaculately clean and wonerfully inviting, The Stirling House is your home away from home. A gourmet full breakfast is served each morning, and there are also afternoon snacks, as well as a wine and cheese hour on weekends. Guests love the wraparound front porch which overlooks Greenport Harbor and Shelter Island and faces the South Fork and the Hamptons. We can pick guests up at the transportation center as a courtesy.

The Stirling House B&B is located in the heart of the historic district, and is a 2 minute walk to the shopping and dining district. We are in Long Island Wine Country, so if you like wine, this is your place. We are also located on the water, so if you enjoy swimming, sailing, boating, lighthouses or fishing, this is the perfect location. Golf is serious here on the North Fork as well.

Gastronomie im Hotel
Please read about our food via tripadvisor reviews. Guests love the gourmet full breakfasts, and Clay the chef, has trained in New York, Paris, and at FCI. Food is taken very seriously here, and guests have said it rivalled the 5 star restaurants in the area. The house is immaculately kept, and all the food is included in the stay. On weekends, gourmet snacks or a wine and cheese hour is set out for the guests. Breakfast is enjoyed in the Breakfast room, or the music parlour indoors, and in nice weather, guests love to have breakfast at the waterfront bistro tables on the front porch. The food ranges internationally, from American to French and Spanish, German to Dutch and most recently English.
