Auberge La Douce Montagne – Surrounded by the Alps Auberge La Douce Montagne is a hotel-restaurant, beautifully situated in the valley of the L’Eau d’Olle. The hotel is a good place to stay for your summer or winter holiday with lots of sunshine, fresh air and lots of activities in the vicinity. Host Maarten, hostess Willemijn and their team will kindly welcome you to the hotel and can inform you extensively about the Alps and their dynamic possibilities. Winter The ski bus (free of charge) will depart directly in front of the hotel and it will bring you up to Oz-Station. From there the ski lift will take you in to the skiing area of Alpe d’Huez (250 km of slopes). The hotel can arrange ski rental, ski stall and skiing lessons for you. Once returned in the hotel you can take a drink and relax in our comfortable bar with a chimney. Special offer for January 2009: € 199,- per person per week (including stay, breakfast and three course dinner)! Summer In our quietly situated garden and on our terrace you will find a comfortable seat to recover from the daily activities. Since La Douce Montagne is situated in a valley among some well-known passes like Croix de Fer, Ornon, Glandon and Alpe d’Huez, it is an ideal place to start for cycling, motor biking, hiking or other outdoor activities. La Douce Montagne has therefore a lot of guests who go cycling and we offer cycling-aimed accommodation, which includes a pasta buffet in the late afternoon.
