Come and relax in our beautiful garden with a sparkling splash pool and enjoy the surroundings in the Garden Route’s KLEIN KAROO. De Akker was taken over in October 2018 by the new owner Marie. Ever since it has grown into a beautiful, relaxed 7 bedroom 4-star TGCSA guest house with lots of character. Many alterations have been made and are still going forth to make this unique old house into a gem of a place to stay. Gastronomie im Hotel
We serve a hearty and delicious warm breakfast daily with a selection of fresh seasonal fruits, yogurt, cereal, muesli, raisins, variety of bread, flapjacks/pancakes and freshly baked muffins. For our Self-catering units breakfast is an optional extra and will be charged accordingly. Dinner can be arrange on request.

This guesthouse is walking distance from attractions, museums, shops and activities and we do offer discount vouchers to many of these attractions and activities. For your convenience you will receive a town and area map upon arrival. Surrounding towns like George, Mossel Bay and Prince Albert are just a 45 minutes’ to 90 minutes’ drive. This makes De Akker Guesthouse the ideal location from where you can undertake your day trips. The George Airport is 50 minutes’ drive and an airport shuttle can be arranged at a surcharge
