Alexa Old Town Hotel Vilnius

I tried to stay in this hotel twice, because of the location (outside of old town but close to train station). First time I had a reservation for one night booked with a larger internet booking site. When I arrived they did NOT have any reservation. Fortunatly last minute they found an emergency room, so it was ok. Then they messed up with something else (stuff from room went missing) and they promised a free night next time i come. This I had them confirmed 3 times (learning from experience the first time) with email. When I arrived, I was surprised that nobody knew about the reservation (they said the reception staff changes very often). This time they were fully booked!!! So late at night I was forced to search in the city another hotel, which was difficult. This ruined the whole trip. Rooms itself were nothing to write home about and the area a bit seedy (a fight in front of Hotel the one time I stayed), the central market right in front of hotel and close to main train and main bus station I have been in many hotels and even hostels in Europe, but I haven't experienced such unpofessionality and irresponsibility anywhere! So avoid getting in trouble, choose something else besides this!!!!
