Aus DeutschlandIch war schon öfters auf der Insel Embudu. Fliege da gern hin, weil die Insel recht ursprünglich ist, ohne jeden Schnickschnack. Die Bungalows sind sauber, aber einfach, und die Einrichtung schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber das passt gut zum Stil. Man kann den ganzen Urlaub auf dem Sandboden barfuss laufen, und es gibt wirklich nur minimale Kleidervorschriften. Pool braucht auf den Malediven kein Mensch, schließlich hat man das Meer. Liegen gibt es auch genügend und kostenfreie Strandtücher. Da die Insel nur 20 min mit dem Schnellboot vom Flughafen entfernt ist, entfallen aufwändige Transportzeiiten und Kosten. Der einzige Nachteil ist das WLAN, dass zwar die ganze Insel abdeckt, aber für Homeoffice nichts taugt, da instabil, da sollte man sich am Flughafen gleich einen Chip von Oredoo kaufen, mit dem man auch günstig telefonieren kann, denn die Angebote der Telekom dort gehen offenbar davon aus, dass alle Besucher der Malediven Millionäre sind.
