Aus DeutschlandEmbudu Village ist eine wunderschöne, sehr naturbelassene kleine Insel mit Palmen- und Mangrovenwald. Die Bungalows sind relativ spartanisch eingerichet, die Möbel schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber und man hat Alles, was man wirklich braucht. Das Servicepersonal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Am Strand findet man stets Liegen, nur manchmal fehlen Auflagen. Essen Mittag und Abend in Buffetform mit täglich wechselnden Highlights. Das Preisniveau ist für Malediven relativ günstig. Es gibt einen Tauchstützpunkt und ein Hausriff mit bunten Fischen, Weissspitzenhaien, Schildkröten, auch Adlerrochen, Mantas, Muränen sind ab und zu zu sehen. Ausflüge zu anderen Tauchspots sind möglich. Wr am Riff schnorchelt, sollte allerdings sicher schwimmen können, denn es gibt Strömungen, ist halt ein Ozean und kein Pool. Für Badefreunde und Kinder gibt es eine strömungsfreie Lagune, aber auch da sind Badeschuhe empfehlenswert. Einzig und alleine das kostenlose WLAN bietet Anlass zur Kritik; ist wohl ein wenig überlastet, aber immerhin überall auf der Insel verfügbar. Wer schnelles Netz braucht, sollte sich lieber am Airport eine SimCard von oredoo kaufen. Wer Luxus sucht, sollte allerdings eine andere Unterkunft buchen.
