Dear Ingeborg and Michael, Thank you for your review and for choosing our hotel. We appreciate your feedback and we are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the noise around the hotel during your visit. We understand how frustrating it can be to have your peace and relaxation disturbed by external factors. However, we would like to clarify that the noise was not from an ongoing project from the hotel, but from a rock unloading project for Addu tourism development. This was a temporary and unavoidable situation that was beyond our control. We had no prior notice or information about this project from the authorities. We respect your opinion and we understand your concerns regarding the culture and the snorkeling experience in Maldives. We agree that it is very important to respect the culture of the country we visit, and we always try to inform our guests about the local customs and norms. Maldives is a 100% Muslim country and we abide by the rules and regulations of the country.. We also agree that it is recommended and a must to have proper snorkeling gears for deep water snorkeling, especially when the weather is unpredictable. You can rent snorkeling equipment for our guests upon request, and you can obtain snorkeling lesson from the Diving School. There we have trained staff who can assist and guide you in the water. We also have a beach area where you can access the sea for snorkeling, and many of our guests enjoyed snorkeling in our house reef, which is rich in marine life and coral.
