We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay at our hotel. If we are not advised of any issues, we are then not given the opportunity to resolve your issues. If you had advised us when you arrived that you had a problem with your room and that you were not satisfied, we could have addressed your issues instead of you deciding to leave negative feedback instead. The property is indeed older than Germany itself. It was built in 1887. Dingy and musty? Very strong comments. Perhaps the room was not decorated to your liking. If I was given a dingy & musty room, I would certainly say something immediately. I would not just tolerate it for 2 nights and complain after I had departed. Noisy? We have signage asking guests to be quiet in the public corridors leading to the bedrooms. We had a coach group of pensioners stopping with us when you stayed. I am sorry that you were disturbed by these rowdy 60 - 90 year old guests and that you feel that they were too noisy for you. Fortunately, we have many more satisfied guests stopping with us regularly from European nations including Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Italy, Czech Republic and Scandinavia. We hope that in future if you are not satisfied with your accommodation, you will speak to the owners and give them a chance to firstly resolve any problems. You never know, you might enjoy your stay instead of being angry and dissatisfied and having your stay ruined.
