Hotel is often fully booked due to conferences or the rates are already over our company limit. For business stays without frame contracts with Hilton you don't receive points neither do the stays count for maintaining your membership status. Hilton just don't understand or don't want to accept that in most companies employees are not allowed to book directly at a website but need to book through a business travel agency portal.
Furniture a bit outdated; large bathroom
Great breakfast variety; pretty good F&B in the lounge
- Probably due to numerous aviation crew guests and lots of events in the congress center the hotel has always lots of Platinum and Gold members so upgrades seems to be rare. - Staff from my experience works professional. But there is a difference e.g. in comparison to the Hilton Hotels in Budapest in terms of customer orientation and friendliness. - Breakfast service and especially promptness decreased from my experience during the last years, especially if you've got early appointments and appear at the first half an hour of breakfast service at the restaurant. - At my last stay I used the quick check out and just left the room keycard at the reception. The staff member later charged my credit card with the option of direct conversion to the card's origin currency. Everyone knows or should know that the transaction provider charge the client hereby with an impertinent exchange rate which caused for me 8% surcharge on the total amount of the invoice.
