Hotel Holiday Inn Parque Anhembi

The best of the hotel is the situation to the fair ground - connected via a roofed walkway direct to the fairground, 1 min. to go and you are inside. I was there during a show and the hotel was booked. Forget the rest. Rooms are small. Elevators are not working well, for internet you have to set your alarm clock on 5am, otherwise it will now work. Breakfast area is overcrowed and have the charm of a youth hostel. Tables are not cleaned and prepared for the next guest. Gym is too small, forget to come in themorning peak. And they squeeze you out like an orange. You have to pay 12 BRL for storing your suitcase a couple of hours - after paying a horrible bill for accommodation. And they are flexible like a rock - early check in costs extra, but they made me waiting for 30 min. arriving from an intercontinental flight , because early check in starts at 08:00am - the hotel was emoty at this time. Check out w/o vacating the room immediately was not able in the morning - later I had to wait 25min. in a queue and to observe the uneffictive way to work of these people. The hotel is remembering at a hotel in the communism East Berlin of the year 1985!
