Hotel Round House Inn

Kleines Hotel, ohne Ausstattung, Renovierungen teilweise erkennbar aber ständig weiter notwendig We had booked for three nights, 30th December 2008 to 02nd January 2009, well advance (in March/April 2008). The friendly local manager Ken told us - on the following morning after arrival - that the restaurant would not be opened on 31st December and 01st January. On returning from our day trip on 1st January we found our room had not been cleaned/serviced. We complained to the security man who was the only one present at the hotel. The next morning Ken informed us that the room cleaning and change of towels would only take place every other day. Somewhat not plausible as the first two days in the row the room had been cleaned. Maybe the advantage was that we, a couple 50 years of age, experienced in travelling and, yes, Germans, had the empty hotel for ourselves. The room - No. 3 - was small but rather clean and had everything necessary or usual for a simple budget hotel. In the shower there was only cold water available, maybe it is healthy not to use hot water. But all in all the hotel is overpriced and not optimally lead. Positive: The food in the restaurant - on the first evening we had the chance to sample the food - was very good, the staff friendly. The views to the sea and the surrounding is amazing.

1 Restaurant mit guter Qualität - aber wohl nicht immer geöffnet. Über Sylvester/Neujahr geschlossen !

Freundlich aber ohne Service-Erfolg und -einstellung, "nichts" als zusätzlicher Service angeboten

Schöne Lage und Aussicht auf das Meer, am Strand / Küste, auch durch öffentliche Verkehrsmittel erreichbar
