InterContinental Toronto Yorkville

This hotel is situated on Bloor Street West, it is the 5th Avenue, Oxford Street, Ku'damm of Toronto. It is also a very busy road, with a building site next to the Hotel, so it is not quiet. We had a room at the back of the Hotel overlooking a parking lot, which incedently is a good place to leave your car as opposed to the Hotel car park. It costs $CAN34 to leave your car in the Hotel car park + a tip to the valet service. If you just leave your car in the park it is $CAN20 a day, which by Toronto parking prices is quite cheap. The subway is 100 metres away, St Georges station and from there it is possible to travel to most of Toronto's tourist sites very easily. It costs $CAN3 for a ticket or £10.95 for a one day ticket for two people, but only at the weekend. Overall, it is a hotel I would go to again, nothing outstanding good or bad about it, just a good place to stay for a city break in Toronto.
