Das Meeru Hotel ist ein sehr gepflegtes Resort auf einer größeren Insel nahe Male. Mit dem Speedboot ist man binnen 45min auf der Insel. Man bekommt keinen Fluglärm trotz der Nahe zu Male mit. Die Insel bietet sehr viele verschiedene Zimmerkategorien an. Wir hatten einen Gardenroom. Die Zimmer sind sehr einfach gehalten und man hat keinen direkten Zugang zum Meer oder Meerblick. Dafür ist man super zentral in der Mitte der Insel. Uns persönlich war ein All inclusive Paket wichtiger als eine Villa am Strand. Das All Inclusive Paket lohnt sich wirklich nur, wenn man die Minibar nutzt, viel und gerne Cocktails schlürft und auch die A la Carte Restaurants nutzt. Die Preise sind, wenn man sich nicht mit Wasser und Tee begnügen möchte, etwas höherpreisig. Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Wir haben uns überwiegend am Pool für Erwachsene aufgehalten, weil man von dort am besten Schnorcheln gehen konnte und der Service und die Mitarbeiter waren super aufmerksam. Snacks und Getränke wurden zügig serviert. Die Anlage ist insgesamt sehr gepflegt, überall sind fleißige Mitarbeiter vor Ort, die bedienen, aufräumen, sauber machen, Sachen reparieren. Die Rezeption hat sich stets um alle unsere Belange und Wünsche gekümmert. Sehr loben kann ich auch die Meeru App, mit der man alles einfach und schnell in der App buchen konnte. Das Internet war durchweg sehr gut; auch auf der letzten Sandbank hatte ich immer noch gutes Wifi. Ich empfehle allen Malediven Interessierten das Meeru Resort, weil mir besonders die Freundlichkeit und Sauberkeit gefallen hat und das Essen sowohl im Buffetrestaurante als auch a la Carte durchweg mega lecker und sehr abwechslungsreich war. Wir kommen bestimmt eines Tages wieder, wenn die Sehnsucht nach den Malediven zu groß wird.
