Das Mercure Hotel in Launceston liegt in zentrumsnähe. Das Hotel verfügt über einen großen Parkplatz neben und hinter dem Hotel
Die Zimmer nach vorne haben zwar einen schönen Blick, allerdings sind die Fenster so schlecht, dass man den gesamten Lärm von der viel befahrenen Straße vor der Tür mitbekommt. Daher sollte man unbedingt schauen ein Zimmer nach hinten zum Parkplatz zu bekommen.
Das Frühstück ist gut, allerdings ist das Buffet relativ klein. Normalerweise würde ich so ein Buffet im IBIS Hotel und nicht in einem Mercure Hotel erwarten. In einem 4 Sterne Hotel erwarte ich ein relativ großes Buffet.

Thank you for your review. We are pleased that some aspects of your stay met your expectations, and thank you also for noting some areas for us to improve on. The windows in all of the Mercure rooms are double glazed, but I understand that traffic noise may affect some guests more than others and agree that choosing a room on the back of the building is best in this case. Thank you also for your feedback regarding the breakfast buffet, we keep the volume of food to a minimum in order to reduce wastage, however your comments are noted and have been raised with our Operations Manager.
