Metropolitan Old Town Hotel

Der erste Eindruck war ganz ok! Das Hotel ist alt und zum Teil nicht renoviert. Im 3. Stock auf dem Flur standen alte benutzte verfärbte Matratzen, was insgesamt einen schlechten Eindruck hinterließ. Im Endeffekt hat sich herausgestellt, dass das Hotel für unseren Reisegrund gar nicht geeignet war.

A big negative and embarrassing for 3/4-star hotel was that the heater in the room didn’t work and so it was cold all the time. We slept with our sweaters on. We told about this problem in the reception twice. Both times they asserted us that the heater-problem was fixed. But it wasn’t! We were 2 persons and we received a big family room with a kitchen and 2 more beds what we didn’t requested and we also didn't need at all. Besides the windows were leaky and the room in general was very uncomfortable and extremely cold for our 6-day stay at the end of November, 2021. The meaning of staying in the hotel in general is that you are provided with a comfortable warm room, what this hotel didn't fulfill.

Wir hatten das Zimmer mit Frühstück. Das Frühstück war ganz ok. Jeden Tag gab es frisches Obst und Gemüse, jegliche Kuchen, Müsli, Marmeladen, man konnte selbst frische Waffel vorbereiten usw. Für vegane Leute gab es leider zu wenig Auswahl.

Das Personal war sehr offen und zum Teil hilfsbereit. Naja, uns wurde zweimal gesagt, das dass Heizungsproblem in unserem Zimmer gelöst ist, was aber gar nicht stimmte.

Das Hotel war in der Altstadt und damit war fast alles gut zu erreichen.

Es gab zwar einen Fitness- und Saunaraum, welche wir nicht benutzt haben. Also können wir schlecht beurteilen hier.
