Dear Guest, Thank you for taking a moment to review your stay at the Occidental Grand Punta Cana. I would also like to apologize for being unable to respond to your review in your native language. Frankly, I am alarmed by your post and would like to speak to you further about your case if you would be willing. Please contact me directly so as to perform a thorough investigation of the circumstances you encountered. I searched through our records in the month of July and did not find any evidence of toxicity due to the consumption of fish at our buffet or any other restaurant on site. Therefore, we require specific information regarding your stay in order to proceed. At any given time, we serve close to 2,000 guests a day. Needless to say, we take the quality of our food and beverage selection quite seriously. Unfortunately, travelers are often vulnerable to stomach illnesses caused by everything from increased alcohol consumption, dehydration, adjusting to the climate, lack of sleep, just to name a few causes. Still, we do assess every case of gastroenteritis that may arise at the resort. Once again, I would like to apologize on behalf of the hotel and its staff for any inconvenience you may have suffered during your holiday with us. I truly hope you are willing to contact us, so we can clarify this situation. Best Regards, Scarlett Acosta Guest Experience Manager
