Dear Guest, We value your feedback and respect your right to write a review regarding your experience at Amani Tiwi Beach Resort. We are, however, uncomfortable with a review that offers generalities on the group you came with other than a personal view. We do wish to clarify the above issues as below; 1. The issue of diarrhea was reported by some members of your group of 13 pax who had arrived the previous evening from Tanzania Safari but not any other guest who was staying in the hotel and at that time we were over 80% bed occupancy in about 245 guests in house. We do strongly believe this decease was effected from the Lodges in Tanzania as most Lodges foods are preserved for a long time. In fact when we contacted the lady who was claiming to be diarrhea-ring, the husband declined us not to take her to hospital which was also informed to your agent. 2. We did had a challenge with spare part of our laundry dryer which forced us to out source laundry services from outside the Resort although we made sure that all our guests who had not got pool towels on time were offered alternative bathroom towels until the other towels came. 3. When you arrived that evening you stayed in room 3307 on single occupancy and the other group was in the same block. We have checked in our records if at all we received any guest complaint regarding remote control of air condition but have not found any. We have also summoned our executive housekeeper who confirmed to us that all the rooms in that block do have air condition remote control. 4. Our beach does not have algae but sometimes the south coast resorts experience seasonal natural sea weeds which for some reason is not a bad thing as its a natural phenomena which does preserve the coral at the beach. All the hotels around cannot do anything about these weeds although we always do create parts for our guests to use to access the sea. 5. The issue you raised about our food being bland is not true as this could have been also mentioned by some of our guests who stay for a long period in our Resort. Maybe you could have specified which food in our buffet then our Chef could be able to explain. We do hope you will give us another chance to host you once more. Regards, Thomas Front Office Manager
