Safari Island ist eine grundsätzlich schöne Insel wenn das Problem mit dem Ungeziefer nicht wäre. Sehr schade. Leider wird von Seiten des Hotels nur notdürftig gegen Sandfliegen etc etwas unternommen und das auch nur nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen. In unserem Zeitraum sahen viele Gäste aus wie von den Pocken befallen. Das Problem mit den Sandfliegen ist bekannt, aber anstatt etwas dagegen zu tun, den Gästen zB bereits Mittel zur Vorbeugung oder Linderung zu geben, werden diese zum Insel Arzt geschickt traurige Abzocke.

The resort invests significantly in pest control measures to maintain a comfortable environment for our guests and staff. However, it is important to note that sandflies are a seasonal occurrence and not consistently present throughout the year. Despite our efforts, there is currently no known specialized treatment that guarantees complete eradication of sandflies in natural island settings. We remain committed to monitoring and treating affected areas regularly, and we appreciate your understanding as we continue to manage this challenge with care and diligence.
