Paradies wie man es sich vorstellt. Saubere Strände, freundliches Personal und tolle Bungalows (Superior Bungalow). Klein, aber fein.
Superior Bungalow ist meines Wissens nach zwar die "günstigste" Stufe auf Summer Island, aber trotzdem sehr schön. Man hat eine kleine Terrasse, ein offenes Bad (es ist ja sowieso immer sehr warm draußen) und das Wichtigste: eine Klimaanlage, die auch vor Ankunft bereits aktiv war.
Die Auswahl beim Frühstück und beim Abendessen war im Buffett-Restaurant gut - jeder wird es finden. Leider war das Essen für meinen Geschmack manchmal etwas zu süß, wenn es herzhaft hätte sein sollen, aber das ist auch wirklich mein einziger "Punktabzug" gedanklich.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, ob beim Essen oder Housekeeping - alle wissen, was zu tun ist.
Was soll man hier groß schreiben? Schöne Lage im Nord-Malé-Atoll, die den Vorteil hat, dass man auch mit Boot anreisen könnte. Falls man mit dem Wasserflugzeug anreisen möchte, gibt es auch diese Möglichkeit und man kann direkt am Inselsteg anlegen. Das Hausriff ist teilweise noch intakt, aber falls man schönere Riffe sehen möchte, sollte man den Service des Ressorts nutzen, mit dem Schnorchel-Boot herauszufahren und dem Guide zu folgen. Wir haben Ammenhaie, Seeschildkröten, Rochen und Kugelfische sehen können.

Es gibt eine Tauchschule, man durfte kostenlos auf das Schnorchel-Boot samt Guide und anderen netten Gästen, es gibt ein Fitness-Studio, man ist auf den Malediven - man kann sich vor allem entspannen. Wer neben Schwimmen etc. dann immer noch nicht genug hat, kann auch beim Ressort weitere Aktivitäten buchen.
