Ruhiges Resort auf kleiner Insel. Schöner Strand, aber nicht überall auf der Insel. Die angepeilte Nachhaltigkeit gelingt noch nicht überall, aber man ist auf einem guten Weg. AI ist ein wenig eingeschränkt, zahlt sich aber dennoch aus. Standard ist nicht so hoch wie auf manchen anderen Inseln.

Sehr bequemes Bett; gut regulierbare, relativ leise Klimaanlage. Zimmer ist nicht sehr groß (Superior Bungalow). Leider viel zu wenig Möglichkeiten, etwas zu verstauen oder aufzuhängen. Der Schrank ist viel zu klein, die Nachtkästchen haben keine Laden. Safe vorhanden. WLAN nicht immer gleich gut verfügbar.

Frühstück, Mittagessen und Abendessen im Samuga war reichhaltig und vielfältig. Wasser gibt es immer zu den Mahlzeiten und untertags soviel man braucht, die üblichen Getränke (Bier, Tischwein, Softdrinks) sind im All-Inklusiv-Paket dabei. Leider nur eine kleine Auswahl an Cocktails, wer etwas Anderes möchte, muss tief in die Tasche greifen.

Vom Check-in über Roomboy und Restaurantbedienung alles bestens. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich.

Lage & Umgebung

45 Minuten mit dem Speedboot, man bekommt bei An- und Abreise eine Flasche Wasser und feuchte Tücher. Die Insel liegt im Nord-Male-Atoll, in Sichtweite befinden sich einige andere Urlaubsinseln. Es werden Schnorchelausflüge angeboten, da kein Hausriff vorhanden ist. Allerdings gibt es genügend Fische und auch Korallen in der Lagune zu sehen. Mein Bungalow war wie gewünscht an der Westseite, die meiner Meinung nach den schöneren Strand hat (vor allem zwischen den Bungis 348 und 360).

Es gibt manchmal Abends Livemusik, Wassersport wird auch angeboten, sonst nichts. Aber die meisten Urlauber sind hier, um sich zu erholen und zu schnorcheln. Für Kinder gibt es gar nichts, weshalb auch kaum welche auf der Insel waren.
