Ein sehr schönes Hotel in einer wunderschönen Gartenanlage welche täglich liebevoll gepflegt wird. Es gibt überall verschiedene Sitzgelegenheiten sowie einen kleinen Teich nahe Rezeption. Tolle Poolanlage mit ausreichend Liegen. Den kleineren Pool haben wir nie genutzt. Der private Strandabschnitt war ebenfalls sehr sauber rund gepflegt. Alles sehr sauber, überall stehen Mülleimer. Alle Mitarbeiter sehr hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Aufgrund von verschiedener Bemerkungen im Netz hatten wir zuerst etwas Bedenken bezüglich der Strandverkäufer. Klar sind diese (für unsere Mentalität) etwas nervig (aber so sind auch viele Shopverkäufer oder sogar noch schlimmer in anderen europäischen Urlaubsgebieten) aber wir hatten schon nach sehr kurzer Zeit ein tolles Verhältnis mit ihnen. Die Leute wollen natürlich etwas verdienen und wir waren auch in dem einen oder anderen Shop am Strand. Wir waren immer freundlich und haben aber auch deutlich gesagt wenn wir was nicht gebraucht haben und die Leute haben das akzeptiert. Das war überhaupt kein Problem und man hat sich täglich freundlich begrüsst und ein paar Worte gewechselt . Mit den Massais waren wir am Riff und am Strand spazieren und hatten immer was zu schwatzen mit den Jungs. Wir haben uns in den 2 Wochen superwohl gefühlt und es war ein sehr freundschaftliches Verhältnis zwischen den Angestellten und uns. Wir würden dieses Hotel definitiv wieder buchen. Es hat all unsere Erwartungen erfüllt und sogar übertroffen.
Wir hatten eine grosse Junior-Suite mit wunderschönen Blick auf das Meer. Das Bett wurde jeden Tag wunderschön dekoriert. Auf dem großen Balkon gibt es eine Hängeschaukel uns Sitzgelegenheiten.
Das Essen war top. Es gab alles, was das Herz begehrt. Zum Frühstück Waffeln bis hin zum glutenfreien Brot, Spiegeleier, frische Früchte, verschiedene Obstsalate, frische Säfte ........ich kann gar nicht alles aufzählen was alles zur Auswahl stand. Lunch war auch sehr reichlich und sehr lecker, wir waren nur einmal essen, da wir ausgiebig gefrühstückt hatten. Das Grillrestaurant ist auch sehr zu empfehlen ebenso der Asiate. Das Dinner ist im Hauptrestaurant war immer klasse. Wir waren auch 2x im Italien Restaurant. Die Pesto-Spaghetti sind absolut lecker. Strand - sowie Pooldinner waren jedesmal top!
Das Personal war der Hammer. Superfreundlich überall. Ganz herzlichen Dank und Grüsse an unsere liebe Sawaii vom Italien Restaurant. Wir hatten sie sofort ins Herz geschlossen. Ebenso an unsere Frühstücksfee (leider habe ich ihren Namen vergessen), unsere "Master of the eggs" vom Frühstück, Lydia aus dem Hauptrestaurant , unser Metal-Friend bei den Handtüchern, Winfrida und Abdul Rashad von der Beach Bar und alle anderen.
Aufgrund des starken Verkehrs in Stonetown braucht man schon eine gute Stunde mit dem Taxi bis zum Hotel.
