It's pretty familar and very international. Our room was upstairs and had a double bed and a bunk bed for three persons. Ventilation and TV made it complete. We had a shared bathroom which was big and clean as the rooms were, too. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice of tico or international meals. Beverages are available fresh from the fridge. You can use the kitchen with all neccesary tools and equipement. The B&B is perfect for your first and/or last night in Costa Rica. Airport transfer can be arranged by Isabel - who was one of the best host in Costa Rica! For tourists from Europe: Some banks do not accept our european MAESTRO cards with the integrated chip. So make sure you have sufficient cash for the first days. For us only BAC (Bank of Costa Rica) worked, even the big US banks did not accept my cards

Isabel and her team were very friendly and helpful. English and Spanish are naturally given. The rooms and the shared bathroom was very clean and the kitchen was fully equipped.

Lage & Umgebung

The Hotel is situated in the north of Alajuela just a couple of minutes from the airport. Nevertheless, the area is very quiet and peaceful; you can't hear the airport at all. Busses to San José downtown are just are leaving nearby. All regions in Costa Rica can be reached within one day by car.
