Das DC liegt ca. 8 km von Marbella (centro urbano) entfernt, an der Carretera de Cadiz, Abfahrt "Elviria", in einer größeren Urbanisacion. Das Haus hat 14 Stockwerke, erbaut 1969, aber Ende 2005 komplett renoviert, so dass die Optik des "DDR-Plattenbaus" etwas vermindert wurde. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und verfügt nach der Renovierung über eine ansprechende Optik (innen), was vor allem an den verwendeten Materialien liegt. Zum Hotel gehört eine sehr große Badelandschaft (Beach Club) und ein bewirtschafteter…
Das Hotel liegt unmittelbar (ca. 200 m) am schmalen Strand.
Die nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ca. 10-15 Gehminuten entfernt, abgesehen von einem kleinen Souvenirshop schräg gegenüber vom Hotel.
Die Bushaltestelle ist ca. 500 m weit entfernt.
Das Hotel ist seit 1.1.2006 absolutes NICHTRAUCHER-HAUS !!!
Leider jetzt ein Nichtraucherhotel. Wenn man Abends an der Bar sitzt muss man auf den Balkon zum rauchen. Die Gartenanlage ist wunderschön und reicht bis an den Strand. Das Essen war an allen 3 Tagen immer das gleiche ( Buffet).
Für ein 5 Stern Hotel ein etwas dürftiges Frühstück.
The hotel is superbly decorated, rooms are quiet, unfortunately we had no balcony nor terrace which is a petty when you come to a region to enjoy the climate and the sun.
Our stay was very pleasant. Er had only one reason of dissatisfaction : The staff from the pool cafeteria was more concerned about discussing with other staff members than serving us.
An example : On a sunny day, a drink at 5 p.m. in the shade part of the cafeteria terrace was refused to us on the pretext that these tables were for eating only.…
