Sehr schönes Resort zum Schnorcheln mit gekennzeichneten Einstiegen. Das Hausriff ist sehr nahe - leider jedoch zur Hälfte tot, wie bei vielen anderen Inseln. Leider wird der Sand am Strand weggespült und muss deshalb dauernd aufgearbeitet werden mit einer Sandpumpe, welche natürlich an einer bestimmten Stelle der Insel Lärm verursacht. Die Sandpumpe wird aber immer an verschiedenen Stellen eingesetzt. Sehr gutes Essen sowohl Lunch als auch Dinner. Bei AI ist die Getränkeauswahl jedoch sehr begrenzt. Die Zimmer sind sauber aber sehr klein. Der Pool hinter der Villa verspricht Privatsphäre. Kostenloser Transfer auf die Nachbarinsel jeden Tag mehrfach möglich. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich und Wünsche werden umgehend erfüllt.

I am pleased that you had a relaxing experience at Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru and that you enjoyed most of the facilities and the welcoming and professional service from our staff. I understand your concern on the noise created by our sand pump and I regret any inconvenience this has caused you. Maldives being considered as the flattest country is vulnerable to rising sea level. To avoid beach erosion, we conduct regular sand pumping around the island. To replenish the beach, sand will be pumped from one side of the lagoon in areas where depth is between 2 to 3 meters. Approximately, this is the interface region between deep and shallow lagoon. The reason for borrowing sand from this area is to ensure that the borrow area does not become a sink for sand moving around the island.
