Das Eastin Grand Phayathai ist ein sehr empfehlenswertes 5-Sterne-Hotel. Hervorzuheben sind die erstklassige Anbindung an den Flughafen durch den Airport Rail Link, von dessen Station sogar ein eigener Zugang zum Hotel existiert, die sauberen und modernen und großen Zimmer mit einem tollen Ausblick (mein Zimmer war im 34. Stock), der Infinity-Pool im 22. Stock und die Restaurant-Bar im 38. Stock, in der ich allerdings nur einen Drink hatte.
Besser geht es nicht.
Neben der Skybar im 38. Stock gibt es noch eine Trattoria im 22. Stock. Im dem Hotel angeschlossenen Retailbereich gibt es auch noch Restaurants. Schräg gegenüber auf der anderen Straßenseite gibt es eine gute Rooftop-Bar, in der man auch vorzüglich speisen kann (BlueRay Bar).
Sehr nett und fix.
Wegen der guten Anbindung an den Flughafen und das Metro-Netz die Bestwertung. Ins Stadtzentrum bzw. zum Fluss ist es zwar ein Stückchen, aber diese Stecke kann man mit wertvollen Zwischenstopps planen, beispielsweise war ich auf dem Golden Mount Tempel. In der Nähe des Hotels gibt es zudem große Einkaufszentren.
