Achtung! Schlechte Poolwasser-Qualität

    Schlecht

Dear Mrs. Sabine,  thank you for taking the time to write and share your review of your recent stay at Grecotel Casa Paradiso.  I definitely understand the reasons why you would suspect that your daughter's illness was due to our pool water conditions, but this cannot be the case. Please find below the reasons why: First and foremost, during this period we were accommodating more than 800 guests, 250 of them being children. No other similar incident has been reported to us. I believe you know how high our operation standards are, and that we call the doctor every time a guest reports the tiniest matter of health. No other similar incident has been reported to us, so if it was due to the pool water conditions we should have way more incidents. Our pool water maintenance system was inspected thoroughly and approved by BIOLINEA (TUI partner in pool health & safety inspections) on June 16th this year. We take very seriously our guests' health & safety. In addition to the day-to-day operation standard (approved by BIOLINEA), we measure the PH and Cl levels three times daily, during the pools' operation hours (10:00-18:00) and keep them at the highest level in order to be as safe as possible. We also have our pools' water tested from a certified laboratory on a monthly basis.       Regarding the blurriness of the pool in the picture that you sent to your tour operator, the specific pool is the one that the hotel's waterslides end into. A level of blurriness is accepted for such pools, due to the great number of guests using it, the continuous flow of water due to the guests' constant movement in and out of the pool and a minor amount of dust that can remain in the pool due to the trail used before entering the pool.         The specific pool, like all the others, is maintained at crystal clear levels, but this cannot occur throughout the day due to the usage of the specific pool and its connection with the waterslides.      Once again, we appreciate you taking the time to write us a review. Kind regards, George Skoufoglou Hotel Manager
