Nice, clean apartment with a great location for a beach vacation. 45 minutes to one hour from Pisa and Lucca. One and a half hours from Florence. Day trips into the Chianti region are possible but can be quite time consuming due to the lay of the land and roads. Many wineries located near the hotel along the Strada Del Vino. We were not too impressed with the town of Marina di Castegneto but would highly recommend the town of Bolgheri for a nice place to visit and grab dinner. Not too touristy.
