Dear Sirs, Herewith I would like to make an official complaint on the Hotel “Prima Life, Imperial Park” in Hammamet Yasmine. Me and my friend made a reservation over Lastminute.com for one night, all inclusive, at this hotel for the 15th August 2009. We arrived at the Hotel at 9:30, and according to the receptionist, there was no room free, so they told us to wait until 12:00. So did we and as we came back to the reception they tried to explain us that there was still no room free because at 12.00 p.m. clients check out and then the room-maids clean up; however after insisting one or two minutes at the reception, we were offered suddenly a room. I must say that in any case the treatment that we received in the hotel from part of the staff during the whole time we were there was very scarce and not friendly at all, something that I would not have expected from a 4 stars hotel. On our way to the room we could see lots of dirt and stinks on the carpets (see hang photos). Finally as we entered the room the first impression was very nice, but looking a bit closer there were some other details which do not belong in a 4 stars hotel (see hang photos) such as broken plugs and beds with different sizes and heights. But all in one the room was fine. 1st Time : Before leaving the room to go to the swimming-pool we noticed that the TV was broken and the basin didn’t drain, so we informed the receptionist, his name was Nizar, at approx. 13:00 and he assured us to take care of the problem. By the time we came back from the pool and the sea at about 17:45. Nizar wasn’t there anymore and the TV and the basin still did not work. So we called for the second time the reception. After that a plumber came and solved the problem with the basin; we also got from him that the receptionist “Nizar” hadn’t made any report to the technical service of the hotel before and therefore no one had come to our room between 13:00. and 17.45 . Nevertheless the TV was still broken so after waiting for more than half an hour we called the reception for the 3rd time at about 18.20. After that we left for a walk and dinner. After dinner we came back to our room at approx. 21:00. and the TV still did not work so we had to call the reception for the 4th time that day, fortunately someone did come this time and repaired it. As you can see we expended most of our free time arguing with the reception and mostly the receptionist would not send someone to help us. Hang in this e-mail you will find also some exemplary photos of parts of the hotel, who according to my experiences, should not have a 4 stars hotel, such as stains, cigarettes all over the floor, broken plugs, broken floor-tiles… Thank you for your time
