Because most people won't understand my "Deutsche Sprache" including myself, I'll stick to english. I think that Hotel Cristallo is a splendid Hotel, with a very kind service for adults and children. The beautiful surroundings and nice wheather is of course no credit to the Hotel but we've had a wonderful week. The staff was very kind and the cleaning excellent. Allthough the Hotel was full the first few days of the week it never felt crowded. Breakfast and diner were great and the winelist almost endless.
We've spent a week walking, skiing and langlauf. A citybus is available but the wheather was nice and everything we needed was in walking distance. "Das Naturhaus" at the Grand Hotel is a nice place to visit with children.
The room is excellent, with a great view on the Dolomites. A minibar/fridge in the room and all the equipment needed (tv, radio, clock and telephone).
Like I said earlier, the staff is kind and the service good.
Fresh food, partly from the region itself. Very good prepared. A feast every day. Once or twice the children couldn't decide on a dish, but there was always an alterntive available.
The swimmong pool was nice, our kids just loved it. Small enough for the very small and big enough for the elder. The Sauna is great for the alduts (and twice a week for the children). The sittng room and Bar is nice we've spent a cold evening cosy and close to the clay stove, playing cards.
Das Naturhaus, the langluaf tracks a walk down the river and an easy ski slope for the kids for their first ski lessons. The Nordic Arena is worth visiting as well or the horse sledge up to the lake.
