Dear Mr. Jan – Niklas, Dion Palace Resort and Spa is a five-star hotel situated among the beach of Litochoro and Mount Olympus. It is well known in the hotel industry for decades as our name represents quality and class. The hotel’s star classification is according to criteria established by the Greek Ministry of Tourism and the Chamber of the Greek Hotels. Any other opinion is subjective, and we are not getting involved to such a discussion. Our well-trained personnel are always focused on offering to all our guests a high-quality service. Concerning your comment about the hotel photos, we have never misled our guests with fake photos and the room that you got was according to your reservation. You have posted some photos which do not represent the real condition of the room as a photo is a capture of a moment which does not describe the reality. Please check out the photos about the same matter as well. Upon arrival, you said to the reception that you had an issue with the operation of the A/C in your room (that was the only report you did during your stay according to our online hotel-maintenance system. You didn’t mention anything else about all the issues mentioned to your reviews (both google and Holidaycheck). The hotel offers half – board and the drinks – water too – are not included in the price. For this reason, we don’t serve any free beverages except during breakfast. In addition, the hotel is endowed with three pools. There used to be one for kids only, but it is closed for safety reasons. Moreover, our Chef with his team is dedicated to creating handmade and unique tastes based on the Greek and Mediterranean cuisine for all our guests. Unfortunately, the menu cannot be adapted to every single guest’s demands. However, the guests who desire to taste traditional Greek dishes could join our a la karte restaurant.
