Die Standard Zimmer sind zwar nicht mit Meerblick aber absolut zu empfehlen. Groß, sauber und hübsch eingerichtet.
Das Essen ist super lecker. Wir hatten Halbpension und haben locker 3 Kilo zugenommen! Wenn wenig Gäste da sind, wird das Buffet nicht aufgebaut aber man bekommt ein tolles und abwechslungsreiches Menü.
Alle Mitarbeiter bemühen sich ständig um ihre Gäste. Sie helfen und unterstützen wo sie nur können!
Bahnhof ca 500m zu Fuß erreichbar. Man kann fast die komplette Süd- und Ostküste mit dem Zug bereisen. Sehr günstige Reisemöglichkeit. Busstation 100m vom Hotel entfernt. Das Hotel liegt nicht zwischen den anderen Hotelkomplexen. Eher mehr bei den Locals. Das ist wirklich viel angenehmer. YALA Nationalpark ca. 3 Std entfernt. Rundreise ist eher zu empfehlen, da andere Ausflugsziele ziemlich weit entfernt. Besucht auf jeden Fall die SOS Rescue Station für Hunde in Ahangama. Die leisten eine tolle Arbeit für die Straßenhunde! Voluntäre und Spenden sind erwünscht. Man wird aber zu nix gedrängt! Für jeden, der ein Herz für Tiere hat, ein absolutes Muss!!!

Es werden Soortkurse angeboten, wie ZSB Yoga oder Zumba, Volleyball kann man spielen und einfach nur die Atmosphäre genießen. Im Meer baden war schwierig, da die Strömung extrem stark ist. Ein Animateur ist vorhanden. Am Strand legen 4x im Jahr die Schildkröten ihre Eier ab.

Thank you for your brilliant helpful comments on holiday check “absolutely recommended” the room category you stayed in, yes standard rooms do not offer the sea view like direct sea view rooms but for sea view it has a partial sea view through the restaurant, but the Superior and Deluxe rooms have direct sea view. We are in the process of converting the superior rooms also to deluxe rooms with balconies. Then we would have total of 40 deluxe rooms with balconies. Appreciate your understanding and endorsement due to low occupancy, though we did not operate the buffet, but gave really a good spread meeting the A La Carte requirements. There is a reef in the sea just 25 meters away from the beach as such, the sea there is relatively very safe. The sea wave that come over the reef go back from the extreme North end. So, it’s not a current but there is a movement of sea towards the deep. As such for all our guests, we give advice to bathe towards the south of the hotel and if you found that there is no sea current. Any way there is generally no hard current at this sea. We always carefully monitor the cleanliness of the rooms and public areas and thanks for acknowledging that.
