Allgemein
  • Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis
    Schlecht

Dear Jacqueline and Tristan, Thank you for finding time to post a review of your holiday at Papillon. We always strive for high customer satisfaction which can only be achieved with the help of your input and the feedback from all our guests. Beaches in Kenya are public. Papillon has contracted G4S guards to patrol the beach boundaries of the hotel 24hrs a day. The hotel normally calls Tourist Police whenever a client reports any beach harassment. We are closing in May and June 2019 for refurbishment. As described on our website and marketing brochures used by our business partners, Safe boxes are available in the rooms at a charge payable locally and fridges are available at a charge in garden/family rooms except in Sea view rooms. AC units operate from 5pm to 9am daily. During the day time, they are turned off for environmental reasons and to prevent the buildup of dampness in guest rooms. We are providing a bottle of mineral water in the room upon arrival further bottles are available from the bars or shop at a charge but mineral water by the glass is free from the bars/restaurants. We have well trained friendly and obliging staff who will do their utmost to ensure that clients enjoy their stay with us. Tipping is optional and entirely at one’s discretion, staff gets their salaries and a share of service charge. We provide varied menu of international and local cuisine. The hotel observes a strict policy on Health and Safety, particularly on matters of hygiene in the stores, kitchen and service areas. With an average of 90% occupancy, there could have been a major problem with cold food not chilled and covered. Whilst the vast majority of our guests are happy with the meals we provide, we always welcome customer feedback and will look into what improvements we can make on the choice and presentation on the buffet. We are delighted that the vast majority of our customers appreciate Papillon offers good value for money and remain the source of happy memories as can be seen in holiday reviews. We have taken your comments positively in a manner to improve the experience we offer our guests and looking forward to welcome you again to sample the experience. Thanks and regards, Aloice Ang’ila Manager
