Lazy Finca Son Valls

Good afternoon Anna! I´m Javier Valverde, Finca Son Valls´s Manager this year. FIRST OF ALL, I´M SORRY FOR MY FAULTS IN THIS WRITING BUT I WANT TO WRITE IN ENGLISH INSTEAD OF SPANISH IN ORDER TO CAN BE READ FOR MORE PEOPLE. I´m really sad of read this type of reviews, however, I´ve to accept that all reviews can´t be positives because of it´s impossible to pleased to everybody, but my goal is to do this. People who read this must know: You stayed at the Finca no longer than 4 hours, so you LIE when you write 1 week of duration and for this reason you didn´t discovered all our services. The bed and the wardrobe in THAT room was being restoring when you came to the Finca. However, in the room was two twin beds next to the other like most of rooms in our Finca (you can see photos of the rooms in holiday check, booking.com or internet). As I told you, the curtain was broken the day before, for this reason, I went to buy a new one but you impeded me to place it. We clean rooms and bathrooms EVERY DAY. Let´s go to study the review, according with your notes: HOTEL IN GENERAL: We accept that Finca Son Valls is not a luxe little hotel. However, all the things that we offer, do the job. If something breaks, we change it for a new one (taps, lights, water-heating, shower heds, etc). Condition 1, I can´t accept your punctuation because of this year we have started a restore process. Especially, we´ve restored and repared the roof, the fachade, the entrance floor, we´ve added a little saloon with german channels, we´ve repared the external walls of the three rooms outside the house and we´ve pruned all the trees in the pool. Also, we have changed the water-heater in july, we´ve started to introduce lights with LED system and we´ve placed an automatic irrigate system in the garden of the pool and corral to save water and the environment. On the whole, we´ve done a huge effort to start to improve the Finca. General cleanliness: SUBJECTIVE OPINION, but we care a lot of this area. Family friendliness: I´m completely disagree in this point, because we have had a lot of families during all these years in the Finca. Particularly, we had 5 families when you came, and three of them, are repeaters since 12 years ago. Disabled-friendly: I agree with this point, because the house is an ancient building with stairs. We´ve 3 ground rooms but theirs bathrooms are not addapted. LOCATION AND SURROUNDINGS: Finca Son Valls is between Felanitx and Porreres villages. It´s located 5 kms away from Felanitx, and we´re rounded of crops, in a natural environment. All our repeaters love this feature. I located Finca Son Valls on GOOGLE MAPS last winter, in order to see and know where Finca Son Valls is. I agree we don´t have bus stops, bars, restaurants next to the Finca. Nearest are in Felanitx. But people who know the Finca, love this. A quiet place to get relax. I completely disagree with your bad note in “other leisure activities available”, because of from this year, our guests have the possibility of doing these activities: Hire bikes, flights in ballon, do guided excursions on Jet Ski, do diving trips, diving courses, snorkeling, sea cave trips, kayaking, to do excursions in some historical majorcan houses, trip to discover Cabrera island and ride horses. All these leisures are not in the Finca obviously, but we work with several partners that offer these activities. SERVICE AND ROOM: Obviously you didn´t like our Finca. It´s a subjective opinion and I can´t do anything in this point. However, your room has 30 m2 and 6 m2 in the bathroom. I completely disagree with your puntuation in size of the room and bathroom. We don´t have TV and safe inside the rooms, but we´ve a saloon with TV and 2 common areas with WIFI LAN. I didn´t offer a new room because it WAS IMPOSIBLE because of we HAD FULL OCCUPATION when you came. SPORT, ENTERTAINMENT AND POOL: We don´t have sauna, tennis and playground, it´s true. However, we have gardens, a little corral with some hens, ducks and one peacock, olive trees, lemon and orange trees and more fruit trees. We are not a hotel WE ARE A COUNTRY HOUSE. GASTRONOMY: Variety and quality of food and drinks: You only tasted the breakfast. Normally, we offer in the breakfast: Orange juice, milk, coffee, 5 types of mermelade (orange, strawberry, apricot, plum and blackberry), 2 kinds of bread, butter, cheese, 3 kinds of cold meat, eggs, cereals, chocolate cream, fruits, honey, yoghurt, tomato salad, sobrasada (majorcan sausage) and dehydrated fruit. I disagree with your punctuation another time. On the whole, I think that your opinion is not objective. However, it´s my responsibility that our guests feel good in our Finca. I work with this goal. I´m sorry very much for you disappointment, I´ll work very hard in order to avoid bad reviews like yours in the future. Javier Valverde.
