Innerhalb der Lagune kann man vom Strand aus wunderbar ins Wasser gehen, das ist ganz flach. Ganz perfekt mit Kindern die auch etwas kleiner sind. Man findet immer eine Liege im Schatten oder in der Sonne, wie man mag.
Das Sheraton Maldives hat eine tolle Lagune, die absolut dazu einlädt Stand up Paddling zu machen und Kanu zu fahren. Es ist so toll auf dem Stand up Board zu stehen und wenn man Glück hat in der geschützen Lagune über Fische, vlt auch mal einen Hai, zu paddeln.
