Sol Guadalupe by Melia

Hi, Just got back from 9 days in Hotel Sol Gaudalupa Magaluf, on the whole it was fantastic. The Hotel is very well managed, the staff are are very helpful and the food is plentiful and of a good standard. Negatives? not many but the main one that I thought could have an effect on your holiday is the size of the room. If you book a room for 3 with the extra bed in the room then you will be trampling all over each other, as there is simply not enough room for 3 people in the rooms. There does not seem to be a 3 bed solution, but they do have 4 bed rooms which are much more spacious, or the option of 2 double rooms may be food for thought. The storage space for the clothing of three people is also not sufficient. The Hotel is far enough away from the Crazy goings on of Magaluf for you to get a good nights sleep, you will be able to go and check the metalists out, have a laugh at them and retire for a good nights sleep while they get on with it till the early hours. there are also local pub resteraunts in the immediate area which are very good, one we visited was MANO'S which I would recomend. Be aware when booking that the the British season for this Hotel would appear to be June-July and then Sept onwards, Aug is dominated by Italians, French and Russians. So pick your season to suit.
