A very comfortable, clean, friendly, family run hotel. We were made to feel very welcome. Plenty of personal service. The cost of telephone calls from the room were not expensive and the prices for drinks in the evening were reasonable. The facilities for drying skis and boots were good. Skiing was excellent, very good snow conditions, well prepared slopes, and plenty of room to ski even though we were there in peak season. Jan 1st until 8th 2011. Breakfast is from 8.15 onwards, which allows time to beat the queues on the gondola.

The room was a good size with very comfortable beds, adequate storage space and large balcony. Equiped with TV, Safe, Telephone and compfy chairs. Everything was in good working order. The shower room was bright and clean and the room was cleaned and presented to a high standerd every day. if there was one small drawback, it would be the shower cubicle; for a larger man it was a little small. We had two rooms, one of which had been recently renovated, with new wooden furnature throughout, which was very tastefully done.

Breakfast had a good selection to choose from, both hot and cold and of good quality. The evening meal was five courses, with a variety of dishes. We never left the table feeling hungry. The presentation and service were always extreemly high. I think a lot of thought and care went into all the meals. The only minor drawback was that it was a set meal, which may not suit everyone. (However, this is quite understandable for the size of hotel.) The atmosphere was friendly, but not loud; very relaxing. The cleanliness of the restuarant was very good, as was the whole hotel. One request would be to provide some sort of snack or cake in the afternoons. After a long day on the slopes we arrived back at the hotel about 4pm very hungry and found the wait until 7pm too long.

Excellent service, nothing was too much trouble. Always friendly service and English spoken too. Rooms were kept extreemly clean.

Within easy walking distance of ski lift, but quiet location. Very near to ski shops for equipment hire and ski passes. Shopping facilities in town, five to ten minutes walk away. Easy to find.

For a small hotel the sauna facilities were very good and ideal after a strenuous day skiing.
