Wir waren im April 23 in dem Hotel. Erst mal machte die Anlage einen sehr guten Eindruck. Bei genauerem Hinsehen wurde das Alter und die nicht vorhandene Erneuerung dann sichtbar. Aber dann kam es richtig übel! Unser Zimmer lag direkt hinter dem Stromaggregaten, welche das Hotel mit Strom versorgen. Den Krach kann man sich vorstellen, von einem ruhigen Nachtschlaf konnte man nur träumen. Nach drei schlaflosen Nächten haben wir dann aber ein ruhigeres Zimmer bekommen. Das lag aber nur an der glücklichen Tatsache, dass sehr viel Abreisen stattfanden. Die Versorgung mit Essen und Trinken war eine Katastrophe. Ziemlich geschmacklos, ungewürzt und einseitig. Regelmäßig fand man die am Vortag über gebliebene Sachen am nächsten Tag mit verwertet. Die Cola aus dem Automaten schmeckte extrem nach Chlor und war nicht zu genießen. Und so ist es auch nicht verwunderlich, dass ich mir an den letzten Tagen noch eine ordentliche Darminfektion eingefangen habe! Weiterhin muss man noch sagen, dass wir uns als Gast zweiter Klasse gefühlt haben. Das Hotel ist klar auf italienische Gäste ausgelegt, die besten Zimmer und der beste Strand ist für die Italiener vorbehalten. Es gibt mehrere Restaurants, die für Italiener alle verfügbar sind, wir deutsche hatten nur eins, in dem es besagtes Essen gab. Der absolute Hammer war die Vergabe, der Liegen. Diese konnte man nicht frei wählen, sondern die wurden vom Personal für den gesamten Aufenthalt zugewiesen! Man musste nehmen, was man bekam! Kommen wir zum Positiven! Das Hausriff, die super Tauchbasis und das Wetter! Abschließend können wir feststellen: Einmal und nie wieder!
Abgenutzt und teilweise noch mit Röhrenfernseher! Ich dachte, sowas gibt es nur noch im Museum.
Katastrophal, inklusive Darminfekt!
Bedienung nur mit reichlich Trinkgeld. Lobby und Zimmerreinigung war gut.
Vom Flughafen Marsa Alam circa 45 Minuten Transfer.

Secondly we have to clear the situation about room assignment due to the booking we get from the different travel agents from different markets with whom we work our front office do the room assignment we have different room categories from economy ,standard ,superior sea view ,superior garden view deluxe bungalow and beach front , the assignment does not depend on the nationalities it depends on the booking we get from the travel agents ,no difference between nationalities ,about the generator you have mentioned we have to apologize it does not belong to Utopia beach club but to the neighbor hotel we will do our best to move it from the location Regarding the restaurants we have different restaurants starting withe main restaurant we call it Sultana for all guests except the Italian guests , the second we do not call it Italian restaurant but its name is EL amira restaurant for Italian guests included in their package but for the other guests is extra every guest has the possibility to eat there once or daily but he has to pay by meal or can get our offer for one week or two weeks.the third restaurant we have we call it island restaurant dedicated for fish and sea food is extra for all guests ,on the beach we snacks by swimming pool located on the beach free for all guests in the same time we serve pizza in beach restaurant daily for all Utopia guests ,if you find any difference between the main and the Italian restaurant due to the difference between the prices not due to the nationalities .all bars are available for all guests and all sport activities available for all guests . Now we would like to clear the situation about what you have mentioned that you have got intestinal infection drinking cola from the machine it is not true at all do you know how many guests in the hotel more than 400 guests all of them drink cola from the machine we did not receive complaining from any other guests as we care about heigine especially for food and drinks very important , the intestinal problems you have got you may get by laying under the sun for a long time and then you drink cold drink or you can get coming back from the beach making the air condition on many reasons cause this problems.
