Thank you for your opinion about our hotel. We are glad that you liked our small hotel, tasty food and friendly staff. You also had a few issues with our management and we will address them here: 1- In our hotel, in the area directly by the pool it is extremely important to serve drinks in plastic glasses. The reason for it is obvious: it is for the safety of our guests (you included) who in general walk without shoes around the pool. If at any moment a glass falls and breaks, some pieces might be on the floor which can hurt anyone stepping barefoot on it. 2- When leaving the pool area, all guests are asked to wear shoes such as flip-flops to avoid leaving water on the floors (especially when entering the bar/restaurant) and therefore slide, fall and get harmed. So if you say that because of this we are a “flop”, then we answer that we do that so you do not “flip”. 3- In Spain, the law forbids smoking in the rooms and inside closed areas. Other than that, every hotel has the right to decide where smoking is allowed; In our hotel, our policy is not allowing to smoke directly around the pool, simply because since many years, the majority of our guests, adult and younger guests, are non-smokers. There are big signs indicating that all around the pool area - and for general information of our smoking guests, just a few steps away from the pool area, there is our big and nice terrace, where you ate many times, where smoking is allowed. 4- Although we personally love dogs, we took the decision to generally not allow dogs because once again some guests unfortunately do not like dogs. This point was not an issue during your stay, but it is useful and the right place to remind that. 5- Thank you for recognizing that we serve tasty food and that our team is very nice and friendly.
