Aus DeutschlandEine Insel, ein Hotel, aber sehr weitläufig, verschiedene Zimmerkategorien, dadurch viel Privatsphäre und eigener Strandabschnitt. Ende November hatten wir viel Regen obwohl die Regenzeit schon vorbei sein sollte. Wellness- und Ausflüge fanden wir überteuert.
Wir bekamen ein Upgrade auf eine Beach Villa mit Pool. Die Zimmer sind groß, bieten viel Ablageplatz. Eine Couch als weitere Schlafgelegenheit. Kaffe- und Teebereiter stehen zur Verfügung. Minibar wird täglich wieder aufgefüllt (was man verbraucht hat) Bei der Minibar muss man besonders vorsichtig sein und schauen was alles im AI Paket enthalten ist, sonst zahlt man schnell mal 20$ für eine Plastikflasche stilles Wasser und zwei Schokoriegel. Hätte man bei Ankunft deutlicher darauf hinweisen können. Das Zimmer bietet 3 Duschgelegenheiten. Die Outdoor Dusche war für mich gewöhnungsbefürftig. (Guckt auch wirklich keiner über die Mauer :) ) Betten sind riesig aber auch bequem.
Man speist überwiegend im Buffetrestaurant. Dieses bietet viel Auswahl. Das Essen ist etwas aufgeteilt und sortiert, z.b asiatische, indische Ecke, Brot, Salate, Dessert, Früchte, Pasta, Suppe, Grillstation usw. War eigentlich für jeden etwas dabei. Wer da nichts findet dem kann man auch nicht mehr helfen. Geschmacklich alles sehr lecker. Haben neue Lebensmittel aus der indischen Küche kennengelernt
Service lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Alle sehr nett, freundlich und höflich. Zur Begrüßung geht die Hand aufs Herz und man verbeugt sich förmlich. Sehr respektvoller Umgang. Ich habe dort Geburtstag gefeiert. Es gab Torte und 1 Flasche Wein aufs Zimmer. Abends sind wir dann ins a la carte Restaurant. Dort gab es dann ebenfalls eine kleine Torte mit showeffekt und einem geburtstagsständchen.
Die Insel und das Hotel liegen mit dem Boot nur 20 Min. Entfernung vom Flughafen. Für uns ein maßgebliches Kriterium nach einer langen Anreise auf die Malediven nicht noch weiter fliegen zu müssen. Die Insel ist sehr weitläufig. Lange schöne Spaziergänge möglich.

Das Hotel bietet sehr viel, Nicht nur Wassersport. In der Hotelanlage kann man Squash, Tennis, Basketball, Fußball, Billard, Tischtennis, Volleyball spielen, Fahrrad fahren…. Man kann ein Kanu mieten täglich 1 Std. Inkl. Bei AI, kostenlose schnorchelausrüstung (man muss aber früh ausleihen, um 09:30 Uhr bekommt man schon nichts mehr) täglich. Wellnessbereich gibt es ebenfalls, aber für uns zu teuer, daher nicht genutzt. Abends gab es immer Programm. Morgens soll es auch ein sportangebot gegeben haben. Das Sunset fishing wollten wir ausprobieren aber das Boot fuhr erst bei tiefster Dunkelheit raus. Für uns daher nicht das passende gewesen. Alle anderen Ausflüge sind eine Preisangelegenheit.
