Die "Gruta da Lapinha" liegt 13 km nördlich von Lagoa Santa im Parque Nacional da Serra do Cipó. Auf einem rd. 500 Meter langen Rundgang sind riesige Stalagmiten und Stalagtiten zu sehen. Im archäologisch-mineralischen Museum neben der Höhle werden div. Funde gezeigt.

Die Lapinha-Höhle befindet sich im Bergland von Minas Gerais, 48 km nördlich von Belo Horizonte in der Ortschaft Lagoa Santa. Von Belo Horizonte Richtung International Airport fahren, ab dort ist die Höhle sehr gut ausgeschildert. Die Höhle selber ist eine wunderschöne, riesige Tropfsteinhöhle mit herrlichen Stalagmiten und Stalaktiten. Schön beleuchtet, Foto ist erlaubt, Video verboten. Eintritt 10 Real/Person.
