Kielce Cultural Centre (KCK) is located on Moniuszko Square in Kielce. Before the main entrance to the KCK stands the statue of Miles Davis. The monument was unveiled on 28 September 2001, on a 10-year anniversary of the death of the great jazz musician. The project of the current building was created in 1975. The city gradually had been indulging to use more parts, and finally, in 2002, the Kielce Cultural Centre was fully open. KCK is an institution, which has hosted many spectacular concerts, operas, musicals and theatrical performances. It is an important cultural center of Kielce and the whole voivodship. The facility has 2 scenes: a small and a large one, which is one of the three largest scenes in Poland (area - 520 m2, 2 revolving scenes, 720 seats for the audience, extensive technical background).
