Decorated in a charmingly rustic style with hints here and there of the Algarve's nautical past, the O MARINHEIRO Restaurant, at Sesmarias in Albufeira, was founded by Monika and Joaquim Coelho two decades ago and since then has enjoyed an excellent reputation throughout the region. The menu comprises a delicious selection of national and international dishes; all prepared using only the freshest seasonal ingredients and includes a children's selection for our younger guests. Our friendly multilingual staff invites you to begin your evening with a drink at our well-stocked bar whilst you browse our menu or make your selection from our specialities of the day. Our "garrafeira" is richly supplied with many good Portuguese wines and Joaquim will be more than happy to assist you in choosing the most appropriate to accompany your meal. Adjacent to the main dining area of the restaurant there is a delightful shady garden terrace, an air-conditioned winter-garden and a playground for the children.   With a wide choice of dishes there is something to suit all tastes including: freshly caught fish and other delicious fruits of the sea, vegetarian dishes and a host of mouth-watering meat and poultry dishes from the region and abroad.
