Die "Playa Mantas" liegt in einer Bucht zwischen Tarcoles und Herradura an der Pazifikküste Costa Rica's. Der etwa 500 Meter lange, mit grauem Sand bedeckte Strand wird auf beiden Seiten von Vorgebirgen geschützt.
