Ubad literally means “medicine” in a spiritual sense instead of pharmaceutical one, is a word of the worldwide known village of Ubud derived from. Located in Jukutpaku Village, Singakerta, Ubud -Bali about 10 minutes drive from Ubud Center or Monkey Forest sanctuary, Ubad Retreat is aimed at bringing back Ubud’s past with its design that following strict Balinese philosophy and cosmology, lush jungle-ish garden, genuine hospitality, and the old Jukutpaku Village ambiance where everyday life is an offering towards the God, nature, and fellow human being. Founded and runs by local Balinese family who treat everyone as part of their family member, presenting authentic local experiences, Ubad Retreat is truly a ‘home’ for everyone.
