Hotel King

Lying on the border of Estonia to neighbouring Russia, this centrally located hotel does not offer what it advertises online. It is certainly not a “boutique” hotel, rather a better youth hostel. The rooms are situated along a noisy corridor and the equipment is very basic. It has a good, but tiny bathroom though. I liked the restaurant which makes one feel sitting in a medieval tavern. Es handelt sich um ein modernes Hotel, das mit seiner Einrichtung keine Wünsche offen lässt. Der einzige Makel, der meiner Meinung (und Erfahrung) nach besteht: Frühstück gibt es nur von 07.00 Uhr bis 09.00 Uhr. Da muss ich meine estnischen Freunde zitieren, die zu dieser Regelung selbst sagten: "Das ist ein Hotel, kein Ferienlager! Wenn der Gast denn nun bis 09.00 Uhr schlafen will (er hat ja Ferien!) - was dann?"
