Dear Mr. Ftefi, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback. It's a shame that it turned out that way and you didn't recommend our hotel to others. However, we would like to give some answers on your comments below. First of all, we would like to inform you that our hotel is located in one of the most famous tourist areas in Rethymnon at “Pigianos Kampos”. Around there are many hotels, restaurants and villas. At a distance of 2 kilometers in the neighboring area you can find several shops, bar, restaurants and you can be there in 10 minutes by foot. Also, right outside the hotel there is a bus stop where it can take you wherever you want easily and quickly and the cost of the ticket is 1,20€. The bus is coming every 30 minutes from early in the morning till midnight. In any case, our hotel is located in a beautiful area as it is not so densely populated and there is no noise on the streets, something that many customers like because it relaxes them. More, where our hotel is built, it is offered an endless sea view, something that is important for those who don't see the sea every day but they love it. In addition, we would like to thank you that you evaluated the hotel staff with 4 suns but we think that they deserve a higher rating as they try hard to make our customers happy. Even the housekeepers work hard to have the rooms clean and tidy in a fast time. Also, the reception department does not know that you had complaints about cleanliness, as you never mentioned anything. On the other hand, beach towels are an extra benefit of the hotel and it is reasonable that each change is charged. Furthermore, we are really sorry to read that we have not fulfilled your expectations about the food. Everyday in our buffet we provide four different types of meats, vegetables, fishes, different types of salads, pastas, rice and traditional sweets. We have also the live cooking and everyday the options are different. Generally, we provide a Greek traditional, varied buffet for all the tastes. Regarding the animation, the hotel provides 2 times per week aqua gym and one time yoga on the grass. Then a karaoke night, Greek night with dancers and a live saxophone night as you mentioned. Sometimes and disco nights. However, the activities for the children take place in the children's club, but this year we do not have many children in the hotel after the renovation and therefore their activities are not visible. But you didn't have children with you why are you complaining about them? The fact that the hotel is not directly on the beach can be seen in every brochure and in all Internet descriptions and should have been noticed when you made your booking. So it can't have come as a surprise when you arrived. However, the sunbeds on the beach are covered with new mattresses so that our customers feel comfortable and the characterization ancient does not suit them. Why didn't you comment on the sunbeds by the pool? which are all comfortable, new and modern. Why don't you comment the positive aspects of the hotel and the new facilities? To conclude with, we feel that your review is unfair for us, as you only refer to details and not to the reality of the facts as you did not comment on the new facilities and new additions of the hotel and you unfairly rated us with a total of two suns. Since we take very seriously the reviews from our guests, we regret that you were not totally satisfied with your stay with us but we hope you will return to our hotel in the future giving us a second chance.
